About Me

Mark has spent many years perfecting his craft by doing various repair and maintenance projects for several churches in his area. He has also spent time rebuilding homes after both Hurricane Andrew and Hurricane Katrina. Mark and his wife Diane have been married for 29 years and they have 2 children. Mark is excited that Yellow VAN Handyman allows him to turn his hobby into a business.

Home maintenance and repair has always been a hobby of mine now as a Yellow VAN Handyman, I get to work my hobby on a daily basis and make a living off of it. I’m very excited to enable peace for my members by taking care of their biggest investment, their homes.

Prior to purchasing my Yellow VAN Handyman franchise I worked in medical sales and in food service management. I now have a license in nursing home administration. I’ve done volunteer work for several churches in my area, working as their building and maintenance coordinator. I also helped repair and rebuild homes after Hurricane Andrew and Hurricane Katrina.

I know that these days many people don’t have the time or the skills to maintain their homes the way they would like to. That’s where I come in! I feel that I can use my God-given talents to help my members with projects and maintenance on their homes.

While I can and will do just about any task or odd job that is given to me, I especially enjoy installing doors and trim. I also enjoy replacing wood trim on houses , as well as installing windows.

I am a licensed, bonded and insured contractor so, whether the tasks you have are in the interior of your home or on the exterior, I’m your one stop shop. The most common repair request that I receive is drywall repair and wood trim repairs. The most unusual repair request I’ve received was to patch a hole in a ceiling where a mop handle had been shoved through.

It’s a really humbling experience to have earned someone’s trust to the degree that they would recommend me to their friends or family. I feel a great responsibility to provide the person referred with the same quality of service.
